SVA, Retrofit Design & Multi-Hazard Assessment of School Buildings in Doti

ESS completed a comprehensive seismic vulnerability assessment and multi-hazards for 30 schools in Doti, Nepal. The project included a retrofit design for 10 school buildings. While 9 of these buildings were successfully retrofitted to mitigate seismic risks, one school was identified as being in a landslide-prone area. ESS has proposed retrofitting a different school to address this specific hazard, and necessary changes have been made.
