The design and time-to-time site supervision of construction work on seismic retrofitting of two heritage buildings for Hotel Ngathsang has been done by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS). The construction work was carried out as per the design drawings prepared by ESS, which was observed during the field visit. The performance objective for the retrofit design and implementation is to achieve life safety at shaking intensity MMI IX earthquake.
