DHL Global Logistics and International Shipping Nepal organized an “Earthquake Risk Reduction and Preparedness” orientation program at its office in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, Nepal, on 26th November 2024.
The program was conducted by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS), providing technical expertise to raise awareness among staff about earthquake risks and equip them with essential preparedness knowledge and skills.
39 dedicated DHL staff members, including 17 females and 22 males, actively participated in the program. The orientation covered Nepal’s earthquake risks, risk reduction strategies, and individual and collective safety preparedness measures. This initiative served as a refresher for staff who attended a similar session last year and introduced these concepts to new team members. DHL regularly organizes such programs, reflecting its commitment to developing a safety and preparedness culture.
