One-day Orientation on Earthquake Preparedness Concluded Successfully
A successful one-day orientation program on “Earthquake Preparedness and Risk Reduction Measures” concluded on August 6, 2024, at SAP Falcha, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Organized by KURVE Wustrow with technical support from Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS), the event aimed to enhance earthquake awareness and preparedness among KURVE Wustrow staff in Nepal.
The program engaged 14 participants in learning about Nepal’s disaster landscape, earthquake causes and impacts, effective risk reduction strategies, and individual and collective safety preparedness against earthquakes. A practical earthquake evacuation drill was also conducted.
