Mason Training in Nalgaad Municipality Jajarkot, Nepal
A 7-day Mason Training program focusing on Earthquake Resistant Building Construction was initiated on March 13th and concluded on March 19th, 2024, in Nalgaad Municipality, Jajarkot, Nepal. The training was supported by World Vision International Nepal and organized by Nalgaad Municipality, with technical assistance provided by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS), along with a local partnership with Panchtara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch (PTYSM). Twenty-two local masons participated in the training to improve their skills in earthquake-resistant construction techniques. This is the second training session held in Nalgaad and the third in a series aimed at supporting reconstruction activities in earthquake-affected areas.
