Earthquake Risk Reduction & Preparedness Orientation for ESS Staff
ESS organized an orientation on earthquake risk reduction and preparedness for its staff, reinforcing its commitment to safety and resilience on 3rd February 2025. The session covered the updated ESS Emergency Response Plan and Response Team, preparedness at family, institutional, and community levels, identifying relatively safe areas at home and office, developing a communication and unification plan for families, and the importance of Go-Bag preparation, open space identification, and evacuation routes.
The orientation featured data-driven insights and visuals to enhance staff awareness and readiness. ESS regularly provides such orientations, along with Community Search & Rescue (CSAR) and Basic Emergency Medical Response (BEMR) training for its staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to respond effectively to emergencies.
