DHL Express Nepal Organized One-Day BEMR Training for Staff
On 31st May 2025, DHL Global Logistics and International Shipping Nepal organized a one-day Basic Emergency Medical Response (BEMR-1001) training for 17 staff members. The training was conducted by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS), the official consultant and facilitator for the program.
The training aimed to enhance staff preparedness in providing basic medical assistance during and after earthquakes and other emergencies.
The comprehensive session covered both theoretical and hands-on skills, including vital topics such as Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), burn management, bleeding control, shock management, splinting, and bandaging. These essential life-saving skills will enable participants to respond more effectively to medical emergencies and contribute to overall disaster readiness.
