Basic Emergency Medical Response (BEMR-1001) Training to European Union Nepal.
On November 28, 2024, the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal organized a one-day Basic Emergency Medical Response (BEMR-1001) training for 25 staff members at its premises.
The training was facilitated by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS) in association with NSET Nepal. It aimed to enhance the staff’s skills in basic medical response during and after earthquakes and other potential disasters.
The comprehensive training included theoretical and practical sessions, covering key topics such as Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), burn management, bleeding control, shock management, splinting, and bandaging.
These essential skills will empower participants to respond effectively to medical emergencies, ensuring better preparedness for future disasters.
