About Us

Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS) is an entrepreneurship registered with Government of Nepal in 2014 under Companies Act, 2063 (2006). This company is established to work in reducing earthquake risks of existing buildings and physical infrastructures, promote safer building construction practices through research and development on approaches, methodologies and appropriate technologies; and also help communities build earthquake resilient through awareness raising, capacity building and actions on risk reduction and preparedness. It seeks to bridge the identified gaps in available knowledge and practical implementation on ground for helping reduce unnecessary building up of structural and non-structural vulnerabilities in our settlements. ESS seeks to provide comprehensive solutions from the design board to actual construction on ground.
