A 7-day Mason Training program focusing on Earthquake Resistant Building Construction was initiated on March 5th and concluded on March 11th, 2024, in Nalgaad Municipality, Jajarkot, Nepal. The training is supported by World Vision International Nepal and organized by Nalgaad Municipality, with technical assistance provided by Earthquake Safety Solutions (ESS) along with a local partnership with Panchtara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch. Twenty-six local masons participated in the training to improve their skills in earthquake-resistant construction techniques. This is the first training of a series to support reconstruction activity in earthquake-affected areas.
